Caisearbhán - Calming Balm

A much loved balm for its calming and relaxing properties. 

Caisearbhán (Dandelion) is the traditional and Irish name given to this plant by our Irish ancestors who have used this plant ancestrally for thousands of years.

The name itself means "bitterstem" or "bitter-footed one," referring to the bitter taste of its leaves.

A plant scientifically and traditionally known for its antioxidant and detoxifying properties, this gentle balm is ideal to help assist with the following:

• Soothe dry and chapped skin
  
• Relieve itchy skin
• Nourish sensitive skin or problem areas
• Calm inflamed and irritated skin
  
• Help relieve stress & tension
  

Our Caisearbhán Calming Balm is ideal for those with fussy skin that can get inflamed and red - especially in the winter months.

In Irish folklore, Caisearbhán has long been celebrated as a plant rich in heritage, primarily associated with the coming of spring and the Irish goddess Brigid as it is one of the first wild flowers to bloom after Imbolc. In spiritual traditions, Caisearbhán has significant associations with the sun and themes of hope, resilience, and transformation. 

To honour the potential of this plant, very few ingredients have been added to our balm to ensure the properties of this plant remain as pure as possible.

Ingredients include:

• Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil with organic Caisearbhán (Taraxacum Officinale) leaves and organic Chamomile (Chamomilla Recutita) flowers
• Local raw Irish beeswax
• Organic lavender essential oil
  

All oils used in our products have been infused over time and with meticulous care.

What you will not find in our products:

• No animal testing
